When I first picked up a camera, my friends quickly realized that photography had become more than just a hobby. They started inviting me to photograph their weddings—small, intimate celebrations shared with their closest family and friends.

As my experience grew, so did the weddings. I photographed elegant full-day celebrations, sometimes lasting ten hours or more. But after moving to Abu Dhabi and seeing the scale of many luxury weddings in the UAE, I realized that my heart belongs somewhere else.

I deeply admire beautiful large celebrations, but what truly inspires me are intimate weddings, civil ceremonies, elopements, and destination weddings where every guest matters and every moment feels personal.

For some time I worked with a wedding agency in Abu Dhabi. Agency photography has its advantages: couples receive beautiful, consistent images, photographers enjoy a steady flow of work, and every event runs smoothly. Yet something was missing for me.

As an agency photographer, you’re often simply another professional dressed in black, quietly documenting one of the most important days in someone’s life. Sometimes you don’t even learn the couple’s names.

I love meeting my couples in advance, listening to their story, helping choose locations, discussing outfits and styling, creating mood boards, and photographing an engagement session where we get to know each other naturally. By the wedding day, I’m no longer just the photographer—I’m someone they trust.

That trust creates photographs that feel genuine.

Instead of stiff, memorized poses, I encourage movement, conversation, laughter, hugs, quiet moments, and real emotions. My goal is to create timeless images that feel like memories rather than staged photographs.
